The Resort Il Sassoneis situated on a prominent beautiful hillside.  

The South/Southwestorientation of the Estate gives the location a sunny environment andoffers breathtaking views.

The resort is immersed in 500 acres ofwoodland and Mediterranean vegetation populated by wildlife typical ofthis region (boars, deer, rabbits, foxes and many different species ofbirds).  Our vineyards, olive trees and fruit and vegetable gardens areall organically grown.

We strive to conduct our business with the highest respect for the natural environment. 
For this reason the resort is powered by a highly sophisticated and environmentally friendly generator and by solar panels. 

Our generator produces plenty of heat and hot water without impacting on the environment.

The Country Villa, named Domus Marethima,is the heart and the pulse of the resort. The Villa is situated onnatural terraces that overlook the Maremma.

The view extends to the sea and offers a glimpse of the Pia de Tolomei castle.

The Villaincorporates all of the guest accommodation and offers a wonderfulopportunity to relax and enjoy the splendour of Domus Marethima.
